Fentanyl Deaths Per Day

About Furious Moms

We are moms of children who have died from fentanyl overdose, and we fight for federal laws to stop fentanyl deaths.

Death due to fentanyl is the #1 killer of our children from 18 to 40 and growing! The Center for Disease Control predicts that Fentanyl Deaths will surpass 20% annually.

Mission

Furious Moms Against Fentanyl is a national organization seeking federal legislation to deter distribution and STOP overdose deaths.

Furthermore, we seek to understand addiction and pursue research to heal it.

Goals

  • Stop the legal use of fentanyl as a painkiller.
  • Force the passage of federal legislation: people arrested for illegal distribution of fentanyl will be sentenced to 20 years in federal prison.
  • Create an online support group for moms who have lost children to drug overdose, most likely from fentanyl additives, and empower them to stop the death of their children to drug addiction.

Facts on Fentanyl

Fentanyl is a controlled substance 100x more powerful than morphine and 50x more powerful than heroin.

Ironically, due to it’s potency when mixed with other drugs, it kills our children, particularly those suffering from addiction who stopped using drugs for a period and started using again.

Stopping the illegal import of Fentanyl will not stop the deaths of our children as it is a chemical compound that can be illegally produced in makeshift labs.

Death due to fentanyl touches all families, rich or poor. White or people of color. Rural, suburban, or urban.
